Crawfish

Hook:  #4 to #8 3XL

Thread:   6/0 Brown, Olive, or Orange

Weight:  Small or extra small Barbell

Antenna:  Living Rubber

Head:  Dubbing, Yarn, or Chenille

Pinchers:  Small clump of Natural Gray Squirrel

Body:  Dubbing, Yarn, or Chenille

Start by attaching the barbell weight about 1/3 of the shank back from the eye. Move the thread back to the curve of the hook and attach the antennas. Wrap or dub a small head (if using chenille, two or three turns is enough). Attach the pinchers on both sides of the hook. Continue with the body material toward the eye and around the barbells. Whip finish.
